Job Description:
Reporting to the Letting Director, the appointee will assist in overseeing the operations, management, and strategic direction of the Letting Department. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and maintaining high standards of service provided to tenants.
Main Responsibilities include but not limit to:
* Oversee day-to-day letting operations and ensure all properties meet health and safety standards and are compliant with legal requirements.
* Contribute to business development and the expansion of the portfolio, in both letting and kitchen areas. Identify opportunities for business growth.
* As a Mentor to the other members of Letting Department, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Share the market practice and to ensure staff are up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, and external stakeholders.
* Co-manage the operation of kitchen: contribute to business and operation model, in order to maximize kitchen’s efficiency.
* Prepare regular reports on departmental performance, including financial metrics and customer feedback. Analyse market trends and provide insights to support decision-making.
* Research market trends to determine competitive rental rates
* Coordinate and oversee property repairs, maintenance, and renovations to maintain standards.
* Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure all property-related items are accounted for and in good condition.
Job Requirements:
* A degree in business, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
* A minimum of proven experience in property management or a related field, with leadership experience is required.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* In-depth understanding of UK letting laws and regulations.
* Familiarity with market trends and industry standards.
