An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the administration team within the Neuro Rehabilitation Service.
The post holder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient administration support to our clinical colleagues.
You will possess excellent communication skills, have proven organisational skills and be able to work on your own initiative.
You will be able to organise and prioritise your own workload, meet set deadlines and balance this with the demands of this diverse and varied role.
We have 2 part time roles available, both hours per week.
One based at our office in Wokingham Community Hospital and one based at our office in Cremyll Road, Reading.
One applicant may wish to apply for both roles if they would like a full time position.
Induction to the post will require some time to be spent at the team’s administrative base at West Berkshire Community Hospital, Thatcham.
Main duties of the job
1. Type confidential correspondence, reports and other documentation to a high standard within agreed timescales.
2. Ensure the efficient and accurate recording of data on all electronic systems.
3. Establish and maintain appropriate filing systems, including archiving following current legislation.
4. Access admin shared email and action requests appropriately.
5. Deal with incoming telephone calls and team voicemail.
6. General administrative duties as requested by locality team.
7. Undertake any ad-hoc duties as required by the Service Manager
