Working hours: 8 hours per week (Flexible approach – Mon to Fri work pattern) Interview Date: To be confirmed The Salvation Army, Stowmarket Corps are looking to recruit a Cleaner as part of our staff & volunteer team in a busy church/community centre. Key Responsibilities: As Hall Cleaner your role will be to efficiently keep the building clean for the centre users, as well as for any of the Church activities that take place. Attention to detail and good communication skills are essential. You will be required to work to an agreed cleaning schedule following our Health & Safety procedures and COSHH requirements. There is a requirement to work at a second site which is 5 minutes’ walk away from the reporting unit. The successful candidate(s) will: Previous experience in cleaning and the proper use of cleaning equipment Knowledge of relevant health & safety requirements and Procedures Ability to work effectively, to a high standard and with minimal supervision Able to follow a cleaning schedule to ensure all of the building is cleaned on a weekly basis.
