An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Assistant to join a nursery committed to providing a nurturing environment for children. This is a full-time role offering excellent benefits and a salary of £28,000 for a 41-hour work week.
As a Nursery Assistant, you will plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities, ensuring the individual needs of the children are met in a safe, stimulating environment.
You will be responsible for:
* Create a safe and engaging environment for children, both indoors and outdoors.
* Assess children's progress and development, ensuring the needs of each child are met.
* Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children in line with company policies and procedures.
* Incorporate British Values in learning activities and play.
* Support children's emotional and behavioural development, encouraging positive self-regulation.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and professionals to maintain an inclusive approach.
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as a Nursery Assistant, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, Unqualified Nursery Assistant, Childcare Practitioner, or in a similar role.
* Ideally have experience working as a key worker.
* Knowledge of the safeguarding and Early Years Foundation Stage.
