Job summary
This is a really exciting opportunity for the right individual to lead and support a diverse range of workstreams within the Nursing and Quality Directorate covering provider quality assurance and improvement. The post holder will be required to work alongside and support the Senior Quality leads as well as the leadership team within Nursing and Quality.
You will use your partnership working skills and expertise to oversee quality assurance and improvement approaches including within provider settings and across pathways related to a range of areas including patient experience and safety.
Main duties of the job
1. The post holder will have responsibility for supporting Senior Quality Managers and leadership team within the Nursing and Quality Team by ensuring there are robust mechanisms in place to demonstrate continual quality service improvements across all healthcare organisations commissioned by the organisation.
2. This role will have responsibility for providing an effective and competent level of support to the Senior Quality Manager by ensuring that robust mechanisms are in place and maintained to demonstrate that quality is supported across all other NHS and non-NHS provider organisations.
3. The post holder will support quality improvement by working with healthcare providers commissioned by the organisation to ensure the development of a culture of learning arising from a broad range of quality issues.

The job holder will carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required by their line manager, and senior managers within the Nursing & Quality Team. 5. Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
6. Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment
7. Demonstrated experience of coordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
8. Experience of managing risks and reporting
9. Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes
