Lancaster Arts: Where ideas, people and places connect We are excited to be recruit ing a key member of our team for the delivery of our creative programme. You will be at the centre of our public facing programme ensuring that the nuts and bolts of what happens behind the scenes are all working smoothly. This unique post will support the whole team, assisting with operational and logistical tasks, as well as volunteer recruitment, training, and coordination. Lancaster Arts is a combined arts organisation of Arts Council England ’s national portfolio, and we think that this is a fantastic role for someone wanting to strengthen their production skills across all art forms. The role will need a working knowledge of the practical, delivery needs of a public facing arts organisation and an understanding of at least one art form in some depth. It requires enthusiasm and strong relational skills, a commitment to the arts and high-quality delivery, with an ability to learn quickly. You will also be someone who can develop with us, as we explore further opportunities together. Lancaster Arts is a distinctive contemporary arts organisation in the n orthwest of England with a renowned reputation for cutting edge arts practice in all art forms. Our home is at the heart of the beautiful Lancaster University campus and our venues include the Great Hall, Nuffield Theatre and Peter Scott Gallery and we regularly host work off campus in the Lancaster District. W e host a wide spectrum of events and participatory opportunities across contemporary theatre, dance, music, visual art, live art, contemporary circus, outdoor events, and we work closely with partners locally, regionally, and internationally to achieve this.
