Newquay Health Centre has a great opportunity for Salaried GPs to join our excellent team. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced GP, joining our friendly and supportive team will provide opportunities for ongoing career development enhancing your skills and areas of interest.
Following gaps in our GP provision due to retirement and career changes, we are looking to recruit salaried GPs to support patient demand and work-life balance for all of our Doctors. We can offer flexible working hours.
Main duties of the job
Newquay Health Centre prides itself on the high standard of care we offer our patients. Working within your professional boundaries, you will demonstrate safe and quality history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of patients.
Our multi-disciplinary team operates a full triage service for our patients, ensuring that the patient sees the right clinician for their needs. You will therefore be flexible to a variety of appointment types including face-to-face and remote consultations and managing complex patients with multiple health needs.
Supported by our wider team, you will safely prescribe, refer, and manage queries and correspondence accurately and within safe timescales. Opportunities for pursuing specialisms/areas of interest are possible including training and mentoring.
