The role:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll provide person-centred care to clients with complex and long-term health conditions across our East Kent hub, covering Whitstable, Herne Bay, Canterbury and Thanet.
You’ll work either day shifts or night shifts and will travel to support clients in your local area. You’ll work with one client per shift and ensure their safety, dignity, and well-being while supporting their families and working collaboratively with a wider care team.

Shift Pattern:
* Either Day or Night shifts
* 35 to 42 hours.
* Two-week alternating rota

Responsibilities
* To travel to all clients across East Kent.
* To provide a high standard of care to our clients with all different healthcare requirements
* To support new care assistants with shadow shifts and inductions.
* To provide clinical interventions and support with medication administration, personal care, and moving and positioning.
* To communicate effectively with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
* A minimum of 12 months UK experience in a care and previous experience of supporting
* Tracheostomy experience is preferred but not essential, as full training with be given.
* Possession of, or willing to work towards, a level 3 NVQ qualification or similar.
* Confident, positive interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team.
* Full, clean UK driving licence, with access to your own car.
* Satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.
* Full right to work in the UK.
