About the Role: As Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and optimising service operations across the UK & Ireland. Working closely with a team of Service Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Service Engineers, you will drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction, ensuring the company remains the partner of choice for cutting-edge tooling solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead a high-performing service team through coaching, training, and certification programs. Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction, measured through regular feedback and surveys. Plan and manage the service operations budget, ensuring cost efficiency while supporting growth objectives. Maintain strong relationships with key contracted customers, identifying their evolving needs and implementing solutions. Optimise service networks (both field and workshop) to enhance efficiency and lead times. Standardize and improve service workflows to deliver best-in-class support. Oversee operational KPIs, ensuring key targets are met and continuously improved. Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams in sales, projects, and product development to align strategies. Ensure all warranty issues and product quality concerns are handled effectively in line with procedures. What We’re Looking For: ✔ Proven experience in service operations or planning at a senior level. ✔ Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate and influence. ✔ Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. ✔ A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering. ✔ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reporting. ✔ Willingness to travel extensively across the UK & Ireland.
