We are seeking an undergraduate to join our Energy Cables Business Unit based in Wrexham. The position will be a 12 month industrial placement commencing mid 2025, within the Process Engineering department. Working as part of the Process Engineering team, you will be given practical hands-on experience from day one. You will gain a great insight into the industry whilst developing your theoretical and practical skills. In aid of your personal development and in helping you achieve your full potential, we will assign an experienced Process Engineer as a mentor, who will provide support and advice whilst overseeing your progress. There are a multitude of tasks and duties that you will undertake within the role, many of which will incorporate team work and interdepartmental communication. Typical tasks would include: Undertaking various individual projects and assisting in project team management. Conducting mechanical and material tests individually or in teams within the factory and laboratory Implementing, developing and maintaining processes. Working with the company’s internal IT system and software packages. Location This role is based at our Wrexham site, the address of which is Oak Road, Wrexham Industrial Estate, Wrexham, LL13 9PH.
