Eden Scott are pleased to be supporting their Renewable Energy Developer client with the appointment of an Administrator to join and support their Procurement and Commercial (P&C) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic administrator to join an exciting organisation with a strong collaborative culture.
Reporting into the Head of Procurement, the Administrator is to provide administrative support to the Procurement and Commercial Team with particular focus to support Procurement operations.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity offering hybrid working from the City Centre Edinburgh office 3 days per week and 2 days from home.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide general administrative support to the Procurement and Commercial Team as required.
2. Raise Corporate purchase orders.
3. Ensure compliance with required procurement documentation; including, but not limited to: purchase requisitions, purchase orders, terms and conditions, contracts, questionnaires, vendor agreements and relevant correspondence.
4. Maintain procurement databases and systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
5. Maintain the Procurement and Commercial Department Outlook mailbox.
6. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
7. Handle routine enquiries and correspondence related to procurement activities.
8. Ensure procurement issues are resolved in a satisfactory and timely manner.
9. Send New Vendor Forms and carry-out due diligence to vendors.
10. Ensure that purchase requisitions and POs are released within the set timelines.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
11. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
12. Proficient analytical skills and good attention to detail.
13. Ability to deal effectively with deadlines.
14. Excellent team player.
15. Strong IT proficiency in MS Office Suites such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Vision.
16. Previous experience in a similar role.
