Our client is currently recruiting a ROV Project Engineer. Based in Aberdeen, the role will be on a full-time, contract basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete documentation/manuals associated with newbuild Subsea / ROV systems & Equipment.
Review procedures and drawings in order to ensure practicality from an ROV operations point of view.
Awareness and understanding of company’s current requirements and, where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards, including statutory rules and regulations.
To ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with company policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with company specific procedures.
To ensure that personal safety and that of others is not compromised or placed at risk.
REQUIREMENTS:
Completed engineering studies at a University or College level or possess equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of ROV offshore operations, in particular subsea construction and remote intervention.
Up to date with ISO (phone number removed) ‘Design and operation of subsea production systems – Part 8: Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) interfaces on subsea production systems.
Ability to produce technical documentation for remotely operated subsea equipment.
Have a good knowledge of ROV system design and system-level engineering.
Efficient in Microsoft Office programs, MathCAD, and AutoCAD.
