Salary: £31,791 - £34,778 gross per annum, pro rata (depending on experience)
£25,433 – £27,822 gross per annum for part time

Trevi is a nationally award-winning women’s and children’s charity based in South West England.
We provide safe and nurturing spaces for women in recovery to heal, grow and thrive. We are looking for an experienced and confident individual to work across the Jasmine and Daffodil teams.
We are searching for a Mental Health Nurse who has a passion for working with women who have a history of drug and alcohol dependency and with a desire to deliver high quality care to vulnerable families. The successful applicant will be a qualified nurse with experience of mental health, administering controlled drugs and medication to individuals. Supporting them to choose a substance free lifestyle and make healthy choices for their children. The successful candidate will also liaise with key local partners to ensure our families have access to the right services.
We are looking for motivated women who are committed to working from a trauma informed perspective.
JOB PROFILE
* Work alongside the Registered Manager to promote effective health interventions at Jasmine Mother’s Recovery and Daffodil Family Centre
* Lead for management of medicines – including administration, audit, and safe medicines management
* Support the wider staff team with safe medicines practices, including staff induction, competency checks and coaching
* Support the team to be able to respond and manage mental health crisis
* Develop physical and mental health interventions within the remit of the Residential service
* Support the families of Jasmine Mother’s Recovery and Daffodil Family Centre to access external physical and mental health care services as required, including accompanying residents to medical/health appointments
* To be part of delivering group work sessions for women and their families
* Ensure that the medication room is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness
* To administer medications in line with Trevi Medication procedures
* Record and check stock levels of all medication
* Ensure medication folders are maintained and that MARS sheets are updated
* Liaise and collaborate with Registered Surgery in sharing information regarding medication pre- admission and treatment
* Prepare a monthly report, collating all medication incidents including monthly audits for the Registered Manager
* Undertake the Health Pathway for all women as they enter Jasmine Mother’s Recovery
* Complete National Drug Treatment Monitoring System (NDTMS) documentation on admission and upload to the case management system
* Oversee health checks for Jasmine Mothers Recovery and Daffodils Family Centre admissions. Ensuring women and their families are assessed and admitted in accordance with Trevi policies and procedures. Initial health care assessment to be completed within the first week of placement
* Contribute to the service improvement plan. In line with OFSTED and CQC compliance, and impact quality assurance within services
* Work closely with other Jasmine Women’s Recovery and Daffodil Family centre Team Leads
* Work within the organisations’ policies and procedures and actively promote the equality, diversity and the rights of the beneficiaries and staff
* Actively promote Trevi in a positive manner including building working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including referring authorities and drug organisations
* Ensure Safeguarding Policies are adhered to by staff and beneficiaries
* Ensure children of residents are provided with good care and that wishes of children, rights and needs are recognised and met
* To model trauma informed practice with a person-centred approach
* To model and maintain the high standards across the Trevi organisation.
