We are currently partnering with a reputable building surveying firm in Bristol, seeking a Senior / Associate Director Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will manage a team of junior surveyors, oversee business management, and deliver work for a diverse client base in the commercial and public sectors.
The firm offers a mix of professional (approx. 60%) and project-based (approx. 40%) work. The ideal candidate will have experience in both areas and a proven track record of managing such work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing a team of junior surveyors and overseeing their work.
2. Handling general business management, including financials and strategy development.
3. Delivering work for both professional and project-based clients.
4. Building and maintaining client relationships.
5. Identifying opportunities for business growth.
6. Ensuring work is completed to high standards, within budget and deadlines.
Requirements:
1. Chartered Building Surveyor with at least 10 years' experience.
2. Strong leadership and management skills.
3. Proven experience in business management and strategy.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Experience in both professional and project work.
