FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Business Development Manager based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire on a Permanent, Full Time basis.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Business Development within the Oil & Gas / Subsea sectors, and a keen desire to support the growth of our client globally.
Main duties include:
* Assist to develop plans and strategies to win key tenders
* Support contract negotiations for New Business and Contract Renewals
* Identify global opportunities with focus on shallow water work scopes
* Track New Business Development opportunities, utilising market knowledge and market intelligence tools to identify projects which are aligned to the Company growth strategy
* Use existing contacts to locate the decision makers at key companies and build relationships
* Influence key decision makers and drive tactical sales
* Develop and deliver sales presentations to key clients and prospects
* Supporting the marketing department with content creation
* Develop and implement client strategies when client projects are won
* Keep Management Team informed of all market intelligence relating to competitors, products, client staff changes, opportunities etc.
* Ensure that there is a clear understanding of Sales objectives and targets for the region and how they relate to the company’s overall strategic level objectives
* Develop and maintain Key performance Indicators (KPI’s)
Suitable candidates should have the following:
* Excellent networking, negotiation and influencing skills (Essential)
* Commercial and contract negotiation experience (Essential)
* A detailed understanding of the potential business within the marketplace gained through previous extensive experience in sales and business development within the Offshore / Subsea Oil & Gas sector (Essential)
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding planned sales goals
* Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with current and potential customers
* Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment on own initiative and as part of a close knit team
* Ability to communicate at all levels of a customer’s organization
* Ability to learn and comprehend technical materials and processes
