Key Activities and Accountabilities To provide QC Inspection support to the Supply Chain Function. Operating in close liaison with the Global procurement team, & Global Product Line Project Teams to ensure that products are inspected and fit for purpose prior to release to inventory. Overall Purpose of the Job
* Work in accordance with the Supply Chain Inspection Procedures
* Schedule QC Inspections and/or work with the Supply Chain QC Coordinator to meet deadlines
* Perform QC inspection (visual, dimensional, gauging, comparison, function as appropriate) and/or QC monitor / witness activities on new manufactured, repaired, or modified product as appropriate to the purchase requirements
* Review documentation submitted with QC Inspection requirements to determine conformance
* Complete inspection / inspection release documentation upon completion of QC tasks
* Raise Non-conformance Reports against products that do not meet Expro specified requirements
* Ensure inspection measuring equipment is kept safe, clean, fit for purpose and in current calibration
* Ensure QC Inspector Visual Acuity records are kept current (annually)
* Visit customer facilities to perform inspection/testing (approx. 30 mile radius of Aberdeen), Expro is an Equal Opportunity Employer. * Previous experience in similar QC Role
* Knowledge/ experience with interpreting industry specifications
* Knowledge/understanding of materials and material test report review
* Knowledge/experience in various QC Inspection techniques & equipment including micrometres, callipers, interface gauges, surface comparators, etc.
* Knowledge/experience with specialty QC Inspection techniques and equipment e.g. CMM Arrn, MicTrac, Hardness Testers, etc.
* Professional certification/qualification through a recognized provider preferred; i.e. ASNT or Equivalent NDT Certification, AWS CWI/ CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent, NACE CIP or equivalent (may be substituted with work experience)
* Oil & Gas, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial experience preferred
* Experience in working with Custom Applications (Expro Insight, E-Trak, and Global Audit System) would be an advantage, but training will be provided
* Experience in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Project, Power Point and Word)
* Ability to manage own workload and work schedule
