If so, the Crew Schedule r role could be a perfect new challenge About the role: The role is an integral part of the wider HR team and plays a critical part in ensuring the right personnel join the right ships, with the right documentation, from the right ports The role is the key point of contact for staff during their onboarding and repatriation process. This is a unique role in an evolving team, working on a global scale to provide an amazing experience for our crew. Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare, 26 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown) What you will be doing: Crew Mobilisation – daily liaison with shipboard retail management on staffing needs. Support joining crew in obtaining the necessary shipboard documentation, as well as returning crew with future assignments. Work with external travel providers to co-ordinate global travel for shipboard teams Workforce Planning – weekly liaison with Retail Operations to plan staff rotations and maintain manning levels within budget, including scheduling replacements for an emergency leave. Ensure ship retail teams have the appropriate balance of required specialist and language skills, experience, and nationalities Systems and Processes – ensure staffing rotations are accurate and up to date in the Scheduling/HRI system, updating salary details and creating monthly manning reports for key stakeholders Be prepared to cover 1 in 8 shifts (on a 4-day rotation) on our 24/7 emergency travel support line About you: Ideally experienced in a Scheduling position from within an HR or operational environment Confident communicator, positive attitude, and an ability to keep calm under pressure Positive influencer displaying enthusiasm and dedication within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Ability to identify new processes and execute best practice Knowledge of MS Office with proficiency in Word and Excel Experience of an ATS / Scheduling / HRI system (desirable) Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK Key Attributes – trust, collaboration, respect, passion, drive, resilience About us: Harding is leading the way in innovative onboard cruise retailing, working closely with our cruise line partners and brand partners to ‘make every cruise better’.
