We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Technology Finance Manager.
In this role, you will:
1. Support the Technology Finance Team in providing accurate Forecast and Management Information reporting and incisive analysis of the Technology operating expenses.
2. Collaborate with senior management within Technology, Finance, and the broader business management teams.
3. Engage and collaborate to influence others throughout the bank, as Technology is at the heart of the future of Banking and is firmly at the center of the business strategy within HSBC.
4. Leverage assistance from the broader Finance community, improve existing processes, and identify efficiencies to be more effective.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
2. Knowledge of Anaplan / Power BI in model builder will be advantageous.
3. Demonstrable experience with data analytics and modelling outputs based on a large dataset.
4. Business partnering experience within a cost management or analysis function.
5. Collaborative, engaging, credible and methodical; being able to bring the numbers to life (e.g., presenting).
6. Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders (all levels of seniority).
The base location for this role will be Sheffield with a hybrid working pattern.
