Role: Sales and Marketing Executive
Location: Bedford College – Cauldwell Street Campus

About the role:
We are currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Executive to join our Bedford College Services department at The Bedford College Group .
As a Sales and Marketing Executive, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
1. Business Development - Identify and convert potential opportunities; Proactively sell BCS brands; Research and build relationships with new clients; Account manage existing clients.
2. Market Analysis - Gather and summarize market data; Conduct research and SWOT analysis; Analyse business position and compare pricing and facilities; Keep abreast of market conditions.
3. Marketing and Promotion - Create materials to showcase the business; Identify opportunities for marketing campaigns; Set up social media marketing campaigns; Manage social media posts and develop yearly plans.
4. Customer Service - Respond to telephone and email enquiries; Conduct customer feedback and surveys; Deliver exceptional customer service; Show clients facilities and ensure expectations are met.
5. Statutory Duties - Promote and safeguard welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults; Promote equality and diversity; Follow health and safety requirements; Participate in training and development.
About you:
6. Qualifications - English and mathematics at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent; Degree in Marketing or similar; Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
7. Experience - Exceptional customer service; Proactive sales; Hospitality or Leisure role; Generating good sales figures; Maximising sales opportunities; Producing reports; Managing social media content; Developing and delivering marketing plans.
8. Skills - Understanding and following instructions; Teamwork; Excellent communication; Highly organised with attention to detail; Creative; Numbers driven; Proactive approach; Self-motivated.
9. Commitment - Flexibility in work and working times; Access to own transport; Willingness to update skills and knowledge; Drive, initiative, and enthusiasm.
10. Additional Requirements - Social media content posting and understanding; Ability to travel to events and various sites.

What is an Associate?
Associates work on a short term basis as assigned. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff. As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you. Typically an agreement runs from January to December and may be renewed thereafter.
