If you do not hold an animal care qualification, you must be willing to work towards one.
We would prefer candidates to be fully qualified as experience in the animal sector is a must.
Candidates must also have experience within a management role, running a team.
We are looking for a Full Time (32hrs minimum contract, based on a 4 day week OR 40hrs contract based on a 5 day week) competent and experienced member of staff, to work flexible hours, INCLUDING WEEKENDS & BANK HOLIDAYS.
You will be responsible for managing a team of Animal Care Assistants on a day-to-day basis, ensuring every task is completed to a high standard, efficiently, and that the facility is always in immaculate condition.
You must be willing to follow company protocols and comply with all licensing requirements.
This role is not for the faint-hearted. We are in an extremely fast-paced environment, with zero time for mistakes. Customer service is a must. We are looking for someone with confidence, great communication skills, computer literacy, the ability to use initiative, and ensure the smooth running of the facility, as well as a passion for animals and their welfare.
Shifts are from 7am-12noon & 3pm-6pm, and finish times may change slightly depending on the day and number of animals on site.
You are expected to attend both shifts within the same day.
MUST hold a full UK driver's licence
