About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their vibrant school community. The successful candidate will provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with teachers to support students in the classroom.
* Assist students with special educational needs (SEN) to access the curriculum.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement in learning activities.
* Support students with social and emotional development.
* Assist with behaviour management and promote positive behaviour strategies.
* Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and development.
What Our Client is Looking For:
* Previous experience working with children in a school setting (preferred).
* A passion for supporting students with additional learning needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude.
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* A commitment to safeguarding and child protection (successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check).
