YOUR NEW ROLE
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Insurance Technician to join its Technical Services team to provide technical support to their specialist Energy & Construction/Specialty Lines team. You will play a pivotal role in processing technical documentation related to Pre-inception and Post-Placement activities including evidence of cover, processing premium, bureaux submissions, credit control, file and record management and provide general technical support to the wider team. You will assist with client correspondence (liaising with underwriters and clients when/if required) to ensure documentation is processed/maintained that meets the needs of the client and conforms to company quality standards.
ABOUT YOU
* Previous experience as an Insurance Technician or technical experience with a broker, underwriter or bureaux/ Xchanging
* Energy & Construction/Specialty Lines market experience (desirable) but will consider other insurance specialist business lines
* Understanding of the London insurance market
* Technical insurance to Cert CII, or equivalent experience
* FCA regulation knowledge
* Good IT literacy skills (Word, Outlook and Excel)
