An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Occupational Health Department for an enthuastic and motivated Senior Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor. The post holder will manage and provide professional leadership for the delivery of an effective high quality Occupational Health Service for PTHB.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the management, leadership, and delivery of an effective high quality Occupational Health (OH) service for Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB) and as required to external organisations that the Health Board has a Service Level Agreement with.Provide specialist OH advice and clinical services to managers and employees ofPTHB.
Provide departmental OH leadership undertaking all aspects of linemanagement for the OH nursing team within their area. Management of the clinical area including managing resource, maintaining a safe environment to implement high standards of OH services.
Monitor standards of OH service, client experience and safety through robust evaluation and implementation of appropriate action.
