This business is within the hospitality industry and they are seeking a Financial Controller to join their small office team. This role will be reporting to the MD and working closely with him to develop and expand the business. This will be a hands-on role and they will require someone who will also be involved in more day-to-day activities as well as reporting and presenting to the board of shareholders.
Job Description for the Financial Controller role:
Posting and preparation of monthly management accounts
Monthly stock reconciliation
Weekly bank and monthly balance sheet analysis
Preparation of monthly financial reporting packs
Circulate weekly flash P&Ls
Effective management and control of all capital revenue budgets.
Cash flow forecastingand reporting.
Closely monitor costs and suggest cost savings
Maintain accurate Theoretical cost models on products
Manage external relationships – Bank/Insurance/Auditors.
Debtor management
Responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts and managing the annual audit
Manage and monitor staff holidays and sickness as well as reviewing all policies and staff handbook.
Managing the accounts assistant For the Financial Controller role, it would be good to see candidates with:
Ideally qualified Accountant(ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
Previous exp of working within a manufacturing business
Proven experience in a similar role
Someone who can evidence being hands-on in their approach
Reporting and presenting experienced
Ideally supervisory experience Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 Per Annum
