Salary: £14.50 - £15 per hour (before AWR comes into effect)
Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent (44.67 weeks per year)
Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce team are currently partnered with a two-form Primary School in Burnley (BB10), who we are asissting with recruiting an experienced HLTA.The successful candidate will be working alongside an experienced team who will support and provide necessary training in order to help you thrive within this challenging, yet rewarding, environment. We are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant with responsibility for Positive Behaviour to support our students to develop and use strategies to enable them to access learning and achieve the best outcomes and to promote their cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being through the whole curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
Key Duties:
* To take responsibility for leading behaviour approaches and pastoral care on a day-to-day basis
* To support the class teachers in all areas of the day to day running of the classes.
* Support all staff with training needs both whole staff sessions and individual class group sessions as required.
* To be accountable to the school leadership team in all areas of work and responsibilities
* To work closely with the Deputy Head Teacher for Behaviour and Safeguarding to lead on behaviour across the school.
* Carefully monitoring the health and well-being of the pupils and passing on information to relevant colleagues and other professionals with both concerns and positive changes.
Requirements:
* Level 3 TA or higher
* Full UK driving license.
* Safeguarding and Child Protection trained.
* Experience in supporting within KS1 and 2.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
