Along with the duties mentioned within the job description, your accountabilities will include: Efficiently manage the admin staff through the implementation and development of officesystems and processes, including developing appropriate administrative policies as required. Use own initiative, working without direct supervision, to fulfil the roles aims. Manage and co-ordinate the appointment booking, single point of contact and waiting list management function of the team. Monitoring CYPT admin team performance through appraisal and regular training to ensure the teams performance is effective and within the trust guidelines. Provide and organise cover arrangements as necessary to ensure the CYPT administrative functions are achieved effectively during periods of leave. Take the lead and instigate the recruitment including setting up and maintaining job descriptions and adverts relating to recruitment and selection of staff. You will be able to maintain a high degree of professionalism when working in settings where there is a fast pace of change, and be flexible in your approach having resilience under pressure. NHS admin experience and use of SystmOne would be desirable.
