PSM Recruitment is looking for Pastoral Leaders to work at a school in Dover. The successful applicants will exercise day-to-day operational responsibility for the efficient and effective running of the allocated house, ensuring that the welfare and needs of students are met. The House Pastoral Leader is a key member of the House Pastoral Team and is expected to make a full and appropriate contribution to the development of policies and practices which support the pastoral care and well-being of students. The shifts to start will be 2 x 11-hour shifts and 16-hour shifts per week, moving to a shift rotation. You will be required to start as early as 7 am in the morning and finish as late as 10 pm in the evening on a rolling shift rota that DOES include weekends. The hours are 36.3 hours per week, and you must work 34 weeks of the year. The pastoral leader's role includes cleaning the house, supervising the children, communicating with parents, and performing many other duties.
