Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our client's team in Edinburgh on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in supporting the public sector organisation through a period of transformation and change.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with senior leaders to drive the HR agenda and support strategic objectives.
* Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
* Lead and support organisational change initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
* Develop and implement HR strategies to improve employee engagement and performance.
* Conduct workforce planning and talent management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within the public sector.
* Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
* Experience in leading change management initiatives.
* CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
