Primary School Teacher (Year 3) Contract Duration: 8-10 weeks Location: Chatham Start Date: 21st April End Date: 23rd June We are seeking a resilient and passionate Primary School Teacher for a Year 3 class, available to start on the 21st of April and continue until the 23rd of June. This role is ideal for a solid teacher who has experience and skills in managing high Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, with a particular focus on supporting those with high SEMH. Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages pupils to express themselves and promotes positive behaviour. Assess and record pupils' progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs. Collaborate with other staff members to implement strategies that support pupils with SEMH challenges. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children's progress and any concerns. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience in a primary school setting, with specific skills in managing SEMH. Strong classroom management skills.
