Long-Term Teachers have the perfect role for you! We support a special secondary school who are seeking a resilient and passionate educator to work as a Behaviour Learning Mentor, providing essential support both academically, socially and emotionally.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide general classroom support and assist with 1:1 and small group interventions as needed
* Support the teacher with lesson planning, supervision, resource preparation and activity setup
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students, creating a nurturing and supportive environment
* Manage student behaviour in line with their EHCPs, meeting their individual needs
* Help students engage with the curriculum and facilitate learning
This role requires resilience, proactivity and confidence in managing challenging behaviours. Experience working with secondary-aged students is essential, ideally in a school environment.
