BIM Project Coordinator – Norwich or London
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a BIM MEP Project Coordinator to join a dynamic BIM team. This role is ideal for an experienced MEP BIM Technician with at least 2 years of Revit MEP experience, looking to take the next step in their career.
The BIM Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health (MEP) projects, producing 3D coordinated MEP models and 2D drawings. Working closely with engineers and project teams, this position involves setting up and maintaining Revit models, ensuring seamless coordination of all MEP services.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting up and maintaining Revit MEP models for projects.
Producing coordinated 3D MEP models and 2D drawings based on engineering mark-ups.
Collaborating directly with clients to create detailed 3D MEP models and 2D drawings for fully designed schemes.
Attending coordination and design team meetings to support project development.
Assisting in the development of Revit standards, procedures, and families.
Supporting and mentoring junior Revit technicians.
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Building Services industry.
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Revit MEP.
Experience in coordinating Revit models for all services, with a strong focus on HVAC and pipework systems.
Knowledge of clash detection and project COBie requirements.
Experience with Navisworks and AutoCAD (preferred but not essential).
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Effective team player with strong communication skills.
