Nursery Nurse Job
An Outstanding school in Brixton are looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Nurse to join a fantastic and inclusive school in Sidcup work with early years (EYFS) with severe learning difficulties and ASD. You will provide one-on-one support, helping students engage with their learning and develop independence, through play based learning. If you have patience, creativity, and a desire to make a real impact in the lives of these pupils, we would love to hear from you!
The successful Nursery Nurse applicant will be given an exciting opportunity to work as a part of a large special needs school in Brixton that caters for students from ages 4-19 where your energy and experience will be valued as you play an important part working each day towards the schools aim to meet the varied needs of its students.
As a Nursery Nurse you will enjoy a high degree of job satisfaction as you have the opportunity to apply your skills to working with EYFS (reception or nursery) aged students who need support building their independence and through play and art therapy.

The Nursery Nurse Responsibilities
12. Work with class teachers to raise the learning of pupils
13. Promote pupil's independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
14. Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
15. Support with planning, preparation and resourcing for lessons that promote play-based learning both indoor and outdoor
16. Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities
17. Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy and procedures
18. Organise and manage teaching space and resources to help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment
19. Support with personal care when needed with other staff members

The ideal Nursery Nurse applicant will be have the following qualities:

21. Experience working with EYFS students or students in a nursery setting
