Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Manningtree Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver English and Maths GCSE tutoring sessions to students in need of additional support Create engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student learning Required Qualifications: Qualified teacher status (QTS) Experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience in delivering outreach or community-based education programmes Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in a classroom or educational setting Potential travel to student homes or community centres for tutoring sessions All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
