Job Title: Site Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the engineering team, ensuring effective, timely, and efficient maintenance operations.
* Oversee site engineering activities, ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and hygiene standards.
* Manage engineering KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency.
* Act as a key liaison with external suppliers and contractors, managing relationships to drive optimal service and cost-effectiveness.
* Implement and drive continuous improvement strategies, introducing lean initiatives and best practices.
* Develop and mentor the engineering team, conducting regular performance reviews and identifying development opportunities.
* Support production activities by ensuring equipment is operating at optimal capacity through preventative and reactive maintenance.
* Take ownership of engineering projects and installations, ensuring they align with business goals and operational needs.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Significant experience in a similar engineering management role within a high-speed manufacturing or production environment.
* A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
* Demonstrated success in line management, with a track record of team development and performance management.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, compliance, and engineering best practices.
* IT literate (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with using maintenance management systems.
