As an experienced nurse, you will take a lead role in the care of complex care clients, ensuring their needs are met with excellence. You will collaborate closely with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to ensure the highest standard of care. Are you the right person for the job? Essential Requirements Registered General Nurse (Band 6 equivalent minimum) Train the Trainer or Nursing Mentorship Certificate or equivalent Experience in training and signing off carers for competency in complex care management. Skills & Expertise: You will provide training and oversight for the team in managing the following conditions: Spinal cord injury Mechanical ventilation Gastronomy tube management (feeding and drug administration) Dysreflexia & Dysphagia PEG management Catheter care Suctioning Neurogenic bowel/bladder management, including manual evacuation Oxygen administration BiPap, CPap, Nebuliser management Tracheostomy care and cough assistance Stoma care Anaphylaxis and EpiPen use Epilepsy management, including advanced care and PR medication administration What will your role look like? Lead and manage the care for complex care clients Perform clinical assessments, reviews, and develop person-centred care plans Order medical supplies and ensure accurate documentation Provide expert support and guidance to the care team, ensuring competency in managing complex conditions Liaise with the MDT to ensure holistic care is delivered What can you expect in return?
