Job Title: Project Manager - Ramsey Community Support Hub
Accountable to: Ramsey Neighbourhoods Trust, reporting to the Chair of Ramsey Neighbourhoods Trust. You will be required to provide an update to Trustees at their meetings and to the funder as required.
Hours: A 37-hour working week is required which is office based, although some evening or weekend work may be required in order to manage the project.
Office base: Ramsey, Cambridgeshire 25 Great Whyte PE26 1HG
Salary: 37 hours per week with a salary of £36,124 per annum plus travel expenses including mileage as required. Salary is paid on last working Friday of each month. You will be expected to complete a time sheet. RNT is a member of the NEST Pension Scheme.
Annual leave: 28 days including bank holidays
Contract: 3yr Fixed term
Job Purpose: To manage the Ramsey Community Support Hub in partnership with local community groups, statutory and voluntary organisations.
The role is primarily about bringing people together, creating community resilience and supporting individuals and groups to a better quality of life. Experience of previous community development work is essential and must be demonstrated at interview. This project needs to find innovative ways to reach potential participants. Experience in the use of social media for promotion of activities would be beneficial.
• Manage and recruit volunteers
• Identify new and develop the existing Ramsey Community Support Hub offers.
• Identify and work with key partners
• Set up a programme of activities and support Individuals with specific issues/challenges
• Line-manage the Project Support Worker.
• Communicate effectively
• Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress and ensure the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at required level of quality.
