Underwriting Assistant - 12 month fixed-term contract
Starting salary from £27,500 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)

Together, we'll be working towards providing a comprehensive service which aids our team of Underwriters.
A bit about the job:
* Supporting growth of the Underwriting teams and the wider Support Hub.
* Identifying & driving opportunities for service and operational improvements.
* Taking personal responsibility for development in line with business strategy.
* Servicing our Underwriting teams in administrative tasks for our Brokers and Customers.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Experience in building and encouraging positive internal and external relationships.
* Good level of negotiating, numerical and verbal reasoning skills
* Good knowledge of IT including spreadsheets; databases and word processing.
* Previous underwriting experience is not essential as full training will be provided. However, experience in Financial Services, Risk or similar would be advantageous.

* Starting salary £27,500 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
* Bonus opportunity - 6% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
