Accounts Assistant Role Overview
NC Associates are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a company based in St Helens. You will be working as part of a small team and be responsible for managing the purchase ledger process, reporting into the Financial Controller.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
* Process purchase invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
* Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
* Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
* Posting and allocating receipts.
* Raising invoices for their domestic customers.
* Processing company credit card expenditure.
Accounts Assistant Experience Required:
* Proven experience in Purchase Ledger.
* Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
