We require a friendly, motivated, hardworking committed healthcare assistant to join our outpatient team. You need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills; you are required to be self-motivated with initiative. You will work independently within the multidisciplinary team always ensuring the patients needs are met. You will be working under supervision of a registered health professional.

Main duties of the job
Duties will mainly be supporting and delivering the smooth running of the clinics, preparation of the clinical area, preparation of and organisation of patients notes.
You will be required to obtain and collate information from the computer systems.
You may need to go to other sites, Satellite Unit and VIN OPD and possible weekend work.

JOB PURPOSEA proficient support worker who actively participates in the assessment, planning,implementation and evaluation of care by working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team/others to meet the needs of patients and their families. An agreed range of duties arecarried out independently following assessment of competence. The support worker alsoassists with the learning and development of others in the workplace.SERVICE DELIVERY1. Participate in the assessment, planning delivery and evaluation of patient care, following agreed plans, policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines, independently carrying out tasks and activities relevant for the job role/place of work, which have been agreed and assessed as competent in practice2. Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team/agencies to ensure that patientneeds are met3. Involve patients, relatives/carers in the delivery of care, providing reassurance andsupport to assist their understanding and co-operation4. Prepare the clinical area for safe practice by ensuring that cleanliness is maintained,materials and equipment are ready for use, including clearing away afterwards5.
