Job summary To assist the Global Marine underwriting team primarily with tasks required to deliver and maintain service and effective oversight required to manage the Delegated portfolio as well as be responsible for certain elements of the underwriting administration relating to the open market / D&F Hull/War, Cargo, Specie and Ports & Terminals books of business. Main duties Assist underwriters with the preparation / production of statistics, data, dashboards, meeting agenda's, meeting minutes and any other relevant documents necessary to ensure effective management and oversight of Marine Global delegated portfolio Provide general day to day underwriting administration and support for the Marine Global delegated portfolio thereby ensuring it adheres to latest requirements set by Delegated COE Assist underwriters with providing underwriting administration, intra-team liaison support and coordination during both the onboarding of new and the renewal of existing coverholders. Understand and assist with the underwriting process of the Marine Global Open Market D&F portfolio, to include assisting underwriters with preparing and administering renewals and new business, as per the underwriters’ instructions. As required, input and maintain accurate records within the underwriting systems and capture relevant data to allow for the successful monitoring and analysis of both the delegated portfolio and Open Market/ D&F risks written. Liaise with other departments in Chaucer as required and/or instructed by underwriters for effective day to day management of Marine Global’s Delegated and Open Market / D&F portfolios. Attend training sessions and other meetings, as and when required Regulatory Responsibilities Assist with the completion of all required annual product review assessments to agreed timescales with approvals obtained and recorded Follow all Chaucer Group Product Governance processes in the UCM and obtain appropriate approvals Ensure that the principles of providing good customer outcomes and the fair treatment of customers are upheld by Agents and Service Providers.
