Shift Hero Bradford& Halifax is currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to cover a wide selection of work in the Bradford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled driver looking for ongoing work. As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods and safely operating the HIAB-equipped vehicle for loading and unloading at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a Class 2 vehicle fitted with a HIAB crane for the secure loading and unloading of goods.
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to various locations.
* Perform daily vehicle checks to maintain safety and compliance.
* Adhere to all road traffic laws and health & safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers.
* Complete all necessary delivery and collection paperwork.
Essential Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 (C) driving licence.
* HIAB certification with proven experience operating the crane.
* Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles with HIAB.
* Strong knowledge of road traffic and safety regulations.
* Professional, customer-focused approach.
* No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence (due to client insurance restrictions).
