Description
The V&A’s Marketing Department is responsible for building the V&A brand and nurturing audience relationships across the UK and globally. With a fully integrated approach to all aspects of marketing, insight and audience engagement, the team leads the V&A’s high-profile cross-channel marketing campaigns and partnerships, as well as CRM, visitor acquisition and retention for the V&A’s family of sites.
The Brand and Campaigns team delivers the V&A audience strategy through campaigns and brand activities to build reach, relationships, and revenue.
This role will work as an integral part of the V&A marketing team providing administrative support for the Marketing team across V&A sites, including essential campaign delivery and implementation for exhibitions and public programme at V&A South Kensington.
Duties
* Provide administrative support for the Marketing department and Head of Integrated Marketing & Insights including managing the marketing inbox, managing inbound (internal and external) requests, and supporting across visitor and internal events such as staff meetings and other promotional events.
* Budget co-ordinator for Marketing, managing timely supply of purchase orders and invoice payment, assisting the Head of Integrated Marketing and Insights with the yearly budget planning process and point of contact with finance team.
* With guidance from the Brand and Campaigns Lead, act as brand administrator guardian for V&A South Kensington and Young V&A, maintaining frontify, templates, the image bank and the brand hub.
* With guidance from the Brand and Campaigns Lead, develop and implement marketing campaigns for specific Museum exhibitions, displays and events, taking the lead on smaller projects as assigned.
* Co-ordinating, collating content and producing V&A South Kensington online What’s On guide.
* Working with the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing officers to co-ordinate, collate content and produce V&A South Kensington on-site marketing (what’s on screens, on site vinyls etc).
* To be an ambassador for audience-led thinking and a V&A brand champion, working collaboratively with key contacts across the museum and multiple departments, including Design, Digital Media and Publishing, CRM, Visitor Experience, Membership, Exhibitions, Development, Interpretation, Learning and more.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to confidently and clearly problem solve with different stakeholder groups and levels.
* Evidence of copy writing, editing and proof-reading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Well organised and efficient, with a proven ability to think creatively and work under own initiative to meet deadlines.
* Curious and culturally engaged, with a passion for learning and creativity.
* Excellent standard of written English and confident numerical ability, able to manage financial inputs to manage budgets.
* Experience of communicating clearly, with the ability to adapt your communication style for different groups.
* Proficient in MS Office and other relevant IT systems to an intermediate / advanced level.
* Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Respects others’ expertise, time, perspectives and contribution.
* Takes responsibility for delivering on actions, achieving high-standards and learning from mistakes.
* Experience within the arts, media, digital, tourism or leisure markets.
* Familiarity with social media platforms and channel management tools.
