Description We are looking for a Retouch Assistant to join our Photo Studio team at Next You will be part of an amazing team of in-house retouchers working as one team to deliver high quality imagery for the Next family of websites This is an extremely fast-paced role that covers all our in-house retouching teams and studios to maintain Next’s vision and creative beliefs. About the role To help the studio deliver imagery to the highest quality for the Next customer aligned to our brand principles & creative direction. You will take direction from your Team Lead and generally assist the other retouchers. You will be a focused, driven, hard-working individual that has the maturity and empathy to take direction well. You must be able to remain calm and professional while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude. This role demands a strong team player with exceptional communication skills who is eager to learn and develop their retouching skills and can grasp new information very quickly. It is vital to build and maintain strong relationships with your Team Lead and other team members Responsibilities Communicate effectively within the studio to ensure the best possible images are available for retouching. Provide support to ensure the repro team have everything they need, support and resource wise. To work collaboratively with others within the Studio. Preparing product for retouching Naming and amending digital files when required. Colour checking and retouching product for the website when required. Communicate effectively with your Team Lead to establish clear, recognizable and achievable goals. Flexibility to work at other Next studios, external studios and on location when required. About you Knowledge of retouching techniques. Knowledge of Photoshop software and image retouching practices General skills in accurate colour correction using physical and digital swatches High competence using MAC Operating systems. A strong communicator and listener. Excellent attention to detail. Full UK driving licence.
