Purpose of the Role: The Statutory Compliance Administrator will be the main support for the Statutory Compliance Manager, helping to ensure that the organisation (and client, a major institutional investor) meets its legal and regulatory obligations relating to fire safety regulations, enforcement action, and building safety, particularly with regard to the BSA, safety cases, and the golden thread of information principles. The role will cover several areas in it support, helping to ensure compliance with Building Safety Act 2022 (BSA), Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, Local Authority Enforcement Action. The successful candidate will need to have an exceptional eye for detail, ensuring data integrity across the portfolios systems is upheld. As well as ensuring relevant internal systems are kept up to date and accurate, they will also need to liaise with numerous internal colleagues and external stakeholders. This role is critical in helping to ensure that the organisation upholds the highest standards of safety and compliance in line with evolving regulatory frameworks. Duties: Be solely responsible for updating the internal system for recording compliance on our clients portfolio, ensuring it is kept up to date by liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Chasing for updates if none have been received within set timeframes. Produce detailed reports from the systems that can be distributed to relevant teams to chase Regularly review data and highlight areas of potential non-compliance Report to the Statutory Compliance regularly areas that need to be escalated Support your line manager in any additional projects that may be required by the client. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Essential Experience of maintaining and inputting data into various systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organisational and time-management skills An ability to proactively manage workload and deal with the conflicting demands of a high-paced and high-pressure environment with clear deadlines. An elevated level of accuracy and diligence IT literacy in Microsoft Office, with proven high level working knowledge of Excel Desirable A background in the Property sector and any knowledge of fire safety legislation. Experience/Knowledge of working with fire regulations and fire safety legislation Personal Qualities & Skills Well-developed organisational skills Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet tight deadlines.
