The Governing Body and Headteacher are looking to appoint a Senior Teaching Assistant to work in our Nursery.
Our Nursery class is constantly over-subscribed and has up to 80 part-time pupils each day. You will assist in developing a high-quality learning environment that is supportive of our youngest children.
Windsor Clive Primary School is situated in the heart of Ely, in an area of significant economic and social deprivation. Our school has a diverse context with over 480 pupils on roll. Over 68% of pupils are entitled to free school meals, approximately 40% have Additional Learning Needs and 32% of pupils are learning English as Additional Language.

• is highly motivated, conscientious and able to show high levels of initiative.
• has proven ability and recent experience in Early Years
• has an excellent understanding of early years learning and pedagogy
• can plan, deliver and assess learning programmes
• is able to work as part of a highly-skilled early years team
• has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• has high levels of Literacy, Numeracy and IT/Digital skills
• is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school
• is committed to working in a large, inner-city primary school
