Your new role
As Assistant Project Manager, you will work under an experienced Project Manager to ensure your specific responsibilities arepleted throughout the lifespan of the project. You will be expected to assist in creating, keeping track of and minimising excess cost in the project budget, ensure that all works arepleted to client specification, ensure that project resources such as your team of contractors, subcontractors and materials are managed effectively, ensure site administrative duties are set up and undertaken, set up and produce productivity and budget reports and establish clear targets for those reports, ensure all Health and safety regulations are adhered to, and establish relationships with and regularly liaise with clients to ensure the current project is to specification.Given the nature of your newpanies’ maritime projects, you can expect to work in some of the most attractive holiday destinations to ensure your projects can best cater to the guests, staff and crew who will call your new project home. Primarily based in their head office in Antrim, you will be required to travel for several weeks' durations at a time throughout the year. More information is available on this. What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need a third level construction qualification or project management experience on interior fit-out type projects and relevant management tickets. To thrive in this role, you should have excellent leadership, planning andmunication and organisational skills. While you will be based primarily at home, you will also need to be willing to travel on occasion throughout the year to site to ensure the project is proceeding on time and budget and to client specifications.What you’ll get in return
