Join Dandara Living Legacy as an Assistant Site Manager for our Manchester sites. In this role, you will support the remediation and improvement of our legacy buildings, ensuring they meet the latest safety standards, including those recommended following the Grenfell Tower incident. What you will do: Support the Site Manager in overseeing remedial works across our Manchester legacy sites, ensuring compliance with updated building safety legislation. Assist in coordinating the setup of temporary site accommodation and welfare facilities. Ensure high standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance are maintained across the site. Work closely with subcontractors to assist in the timely completion of work, ensuring the quality meets company standards. Assist in managing the day-to-day site operations, including maintaining site records, quality assurance, and health & safety compliance. Liaise with various stakeholders, including local authorities, safety inspectors, and other site personnel, to support efficient project delivery. Conduct site inductions and ensure all relevant Health & Safety requirements are met. Assist with progress meetings, providing regular updates to the Site Manager and Project Manager. What We're Looking For: Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar role within residential or commercial projects. Knowledge of building remedial works and experience supporting construction activities. Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards, including compliance requirements. Relevant construction qualifications, such as SSSTS, First Aid at Work, and a valid CSCS card. Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. A proactive approach to supporting the successful delivery of construction projects.
