The post holder: - The post holder is ultimately accountable to the medical director but works closely with support and supervision form the Community Paediatric Lead for CYP (Assistant Clinical Director CYP) Will be expected to comply with the health Boards agreed policies and procedures and to practice in line with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the General Medical Councils good practice guidelines Participate in clinical governance and audit. Clinical governance is a high priority in the health board. Maintain competence in the use of the Mental Health Act Provide supervision and support to junior doctors and other members of the ND team. Participate in teaching, administration and research opportunities, the HB has well stocked libraries at the 3 main admission sites which the post holder will have access to. Participate in the continuing medical education program provided locally Perform additional duties in the case of infrequent emergencies. This would be monitored for annual job planning meetings.
