Experience required…
Essential:
8. Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
9. Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, including site investigation, analysis, design, and project management
10. Technical Skills: Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, PLAXIS, SLOPE/W, etc.) and CAD tools. Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and ground improvement techniques
11. Demonstrable experience of working with the Design Team Leaders, Principal Designer and Discipline Manager(s) to deliver designs for UK projects within the Geotechnical discipline
12. Experience of Site investigations, analysis and design
13. Strong background in CDM / health and safety practices
14. Liaise with the Client and our Community partners to ensure solutions that are developed are suitable for buildability and maintainability
15. Experience of stakeholder engagement and collaboration between disciplines
16. Experience of working with DMRB and all relevant technical standards
17. Experience of developing, and providing guidance to, less experienced staff
18. Experience of checking designs, design reports and other technical documents
19. Experience of checking design calculations
20. Strong commercial acumen and ability manage programmes
