Salary: £100 - £120 per day (depending on experience and working hours)

Long-Term Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic Post-16 Learning Mentor to work with students who have Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs). This rewarding opportunity will allow you to make a meaningful difference by guiding students in real-world settings and helping them achieve their goals.
Your role:
As a Post-16 Learning Mentor, you will:
* Support students to develop essential practical life skills tailored to their unique needs
* Deliver engaging, accredited learning programmes based on personalised curriculums
* Monitor progress, celebrate achievements and foster students’ confidence and independence
* Travel with students to community-based locations (e.g libraries, workplaces, leisure centres) to provide meaningful, hands-on learning experiences
What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated individual with:
* Experience: Previous work with young people in the UK (essential)
* SEN knowledge: Experience working with special educational needs is highly desirable
* Flexibility: Willingness to adapt and travel between learning locations
* Communication Skills: Strong ability to connect with and inspire students
* Transport: A valid driver’s licence, access to your own vehicle and business insurance
You’ll work Monday to Friday, term time only (9:30am - 4:30pm).
